In addition to writing and measuring your blog. It’s a good idea to know what’s going on around you in the wedding industry. As if we all don’t have enough to do already, but being aware of the latest and greatest in the wedding industry is important information you want to know and possibly share about your niche in the industry.

Not only should you monitor the wedding industry, you should monitor what the industry is saying about you. Be aware of what is being said about you, your company, your brand, and your blog.

I use Google Alerts to monitor my brand and industry words that I’m interested in. There is also Technorati Watchlists which also provides similar monitoring.

Day 3 Task – Create Alerts for your Wedding Blog

Create alerts that will allow you the be “in the know”. Alerts on industry related words, your company name, blog, and/or brand are a great place to start.
